Library

 

Redoubt North Primary has a well resourced library with an ever growing collection of over 4000 fiction and non-fiction books. Material is chosen to enhance and extend classroom learning as well as developing outside interests. Reference material and the internet are available to meet the children’s research requirements.

 

Class library lessons are timetabled weekly to develop reading and study skills including book care, and using the Dewey classification system. The library collection is fully computerized and children are encouraged to make their own selections. The library is open during lunch hours where children are welcome to read, access the computers, or complete their homework.
